Welcome!

It is my pleasure to introduce you to our fundraising program and hope you find the following both instructive and informative. 16 years of fundraising experience has taught Hero Card that one shoe doesn’t fit everyone. Although our fundraising platform was designed to aid local churches, charities, and schools in their fundraising efforts, we recognize it’s not for everyone. We hope the brief explanation below will help you begin the process of determining if our program will work for you. Feel free to give us a call at 706-955-0436 with any questions you may have. Additionally, we are available to meet with you or your board to explain our fundraising process and see if your organizational structure would work successfully with our program.

How The Hero Card Fundraising Program Works

No money up front. A low cost, low administration solution to fundraising on any scale. The program is completely self-supporting.
Hero Card and Your organization will get paid from the proceeds of your sales.
Fundraising campaigns are short and generally last from 1 to 3 months. Since you initially receive all proceeds from membership sales, your funds are available to you instantly.
Memberships are for a minimum of 12 months but are generally extended for up to 2 additional bonus months to account for a 2 month selling period and at no cost to you or your contributors. Bonus months are available and intended to coincide with the end of your fundraising event. Example: A fundraising event may start on 5/1 and end on 7/31. All your cards will expire on 7/31 of the following year.
We provide you the “Annual Hero Card Memberships” to be sold by your volunteers for $30 each. As a result, your organization will always have the pricing advantage when compared to our current online retail price of $49/$69.
Sales Proceeds are split 50/50.
Note: If your organization sells a minimum of 100 cards, we will reward you with an additional $1 per card, $3 per card for 200 cards sold. 200 cards will get you $18 per card or an extra $600.
Your logo, name or other special insignia’s will be printed on the face of the Benefits List and delivery envelope.
Minimal administration on your part – we keep track of everything.
You only pay for cards you sell. Unsold cards are returned to us.
We provide your volunteers with everything they need to be successful. Each Hero Card has a 12 digit card # and a 4 digit Pin # printed on the back to aid in the distribution of cards to volunteers and tracking sales.

Welcome to My Hero Card

Who We Are

My Hero Card has been honoring our local Heroes since 2009. In 2025-26, with the support of our membership, we will provide over 6,000 Hero Card memberships to our local heroes and their families in Richmond, Columbia, Burke McDuffie, Aiken, and Edgefield Counties at no cost to them. Our local Heroes include members of local Fire Departments, Sheriff Departments, US Marshals, GBI, FBI, Gold Cross EMT’s, Our Local Towing - Road Warriors and other area First Responders. It is also our great privilege and honor to provide Gold Lifetime Hero Card Memberships to our Veterans who served in Vietnam and/or with injuries or disabilities received in combat. This would include Purple Heart recipients, veterans diagnosed with severe Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and TBI.
