With your support we are able to provide 12 month “hero Card” memberships to the fine men and women of the Richmond County Sherriff’s Department; the Columbia County Sheriff’s Department; the Columbia County Fire Department; the US Marshal’s; and over 400 Wounded Warriors currently at Fort Gordon. Because of the support of our members and businesses like yourself that support the “Hero Card” program, we are able to do this at no cost to them.

How It Works


Businesses are chosen based on their ability to service our membership while achieving their specific marketing objectives.

Businesses have immediate access to our ever-growing consumer base.

Businesses are chosen based on an accepted offer:

  • Offers may be in the form of, but not limited to, % discounts,

  • Buy One Get One Free offers or Buy One Get One Half Price.

  • Offers may allow limited or unlimited monthly usage.

  • Offer may be limited to a specific number of annual visits. Offer may be limited to a maximum dollar amount. (Example: 25% off with a maximum discount of $10).

  • Offers made by a hero partner are not available with any other specials, coupons, discounts or in combination with other offers.

  • Based on MyHeroCard.com’s acceptance, offers may be limited in ways acceptable to the merchant.

Usage Tracking - Usage tracking and card validation is available to partners having a point-of-sale system with internet access.
  • Attendant swipes the “Hero Card” on a magnetic strip reader attached to the point-of-sale system and validates the availability of the benefit.

  • System will display information such as member name, last usage, expiration date of card, and available benefits.

  • Attendant will be informed if the card has expired or if benefit has been used and is no longer available.

  • Attendant chooses benefit to redeem.

  • Automatically generated usage reports are available via email.
